Mr. Allen Prater, Jr. age 77 of McMinnville, TN, died Tuesday, July 21, 2020, at his residence. He was born in Warren County, TN, on January 06, 1943. Mr. Prater was preceded in death by his parents Allen Prater, Sr. and Beatrice Prater and his wife Bonnie Elkins Prater. He was a retired truck driver with Ryder Trucking and attended Center Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include his children Christy (Michael) Robey, Greg (Carolyne) Prater, and Stephen Prater, brother Gary Prater, grandchildren Devon Prater, Brittany McKinley, Brad McKinley, Hannah Prater, and Hunter Martin, and great grandchildren Noah McKinley, Lindsay Juarez, Owen Martin, and Rylee Hagan. Several family friends also survive.
Graveside service and interment will be at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, July 25, 2020, at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00 P.M. Noon until 2:30 P.M. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
