Allen C. “Carl Allen” Johnson, 72, died Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at his residence. He was born in Itawamba County, MS to Lyle Lamar and Thelma Louise Ewing Johnson and was owner of a trucking company. He was a member of Red Bay Holy Church of Christ and served in the National Guard for six years.

Services will be Friday, May 31, 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Wayne Bumgart and Bro. Rex Riddle officiating. Burial will be in Old Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Golden, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-five years – Barbara Johnson; two daughters – Tina Morrow (John) Tremont, MS and Regina Holland (Randall) Red Bay, AL; six grandchildren – Tara Baggett (Justin), Curtis Morrow (Josi), Sara Green (Kyle), Grant Holland (Kalee), Maddie Henson (Adam) and Jacob Holland (Kristen) and ten great-grandchildren – Jessie Baggett, Lyvi Baggett, Raigan Henson, Rilynn Henson, Tyson Holland, Ava Holland, Gatlin Morrow, Marlee Holland, Tucker Green and Charney Green.

Pallbearers will be Curtis Morrow, Grant Holland, Jake Holland, Justin Baggett, Kyle Green and Adam Henson. Honorary pallbearers will be Fred Peck, Hugh Scott, Ricky Ewing and Jackie Johnson.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 30, 6-9 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
