David Gray leaving court on September 9, 2013

FLORENCE – David Erick Gray, the man accused of collecting over 10-thousand images of child pornography and allegedly videoing himself having sexual relations with a woman who police say was somehow incapacitated with drugs or alcohol, got a favorable decision from district Judge Mike Jones. The 31 year-old Killen man was granted a bond reduction to $250-thousand. His attorney, Leslie Johnson requested the reduction so that his client could attend a sexual-addiction treatment facility in Pennsylvania.

Lauderdale County District Attorney, Chris Connolly objected to the bond-reduction request, but Judge Jones ruled in favor of Gray’s request. Jones did stipulate that Jones would have to waive extradition before leaving Alabama. and said that his travel could only be to the treatment facility, believed to be KeyStone Center near Chester, Pennsylvania. The judge made it clear to Lawyer Johnson that the travel stipulations must be completely conformed with prior to Gray’s journey.
