Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 11, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Rev. Dustin Henshaw officiating. Interment will follow at Flanagan Cemetery. Pall bearers will be Jonathon Putman, Justin Doll, Johnathon Boyd, Randy Putman, II, Luke Tankersley, Charles Scott, Craigan Scott, and Dillon Scott. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 11, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. until time of service.
Mrs. Tankersley is survived by her sons, Randy (Debbie) Putman and Tony Putman; daughter in law, Sandra Putman; grandchildren, Holly (Justin) Doll, Randy (Erica) Putman, II, Ashley (Johnathon) Boyd, Jonathon (Tina) Putman, and Jamie Shelton; great grandchildren, Savannah Doll, Coralee Doll, Knox Boyd, Ansley Boyd, Ryan Putman, Ryley Putman, Jordan Shelton, and Sydney (Daniel) Campbell; brothers, Luther (Martha Ann) Tankersley and Horace (Theresa) Tankersley; sister in law, Eula Mae Tankersley; and brother in law, Berlin Baugh.
She was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Wayne Putman; daughter, Regina Kay Shelton; grandson, Elijah John Putman; granddaughter, Jennifer Darlene Shelton; great grandson, Reed Scott Putman; father, John Robert Tankersley; mother, Goldie Cress Tankersley; brothers, Ollie O. Tankersley, John T. Tankersley, and Robert (Bobby) Tankersley; and sisters, Marcine Baugh and Christine Lemley.
