Alicia Irene Jackson, age 76, of Adams, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Oak Pointe Assisted Living. Funeral services will be conducted at 2pm Wednesday, January 31st, in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield with Bro. Michael Duff officiating. Entombment will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens mausoleum with Charles Wyatt, Samuel Wyatt, Seth Brock, Garrett Brock, Logan Coppage, and Jarid Coppage serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 10am until time of the service at 2pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Jackson was born May 28, 1947, in Hopkinsville, KY, to the late Ira and Alice Wetton Stamper. She was a factory worker for Johnson Electric for many years. Mrs. Jackson loved her family and worshiped her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Jackson; and daughters, Stacey Michelle Crawford, and Yvonne Annette Wyatt.
She is survived by a son, Allan (Laura Kaye) Crawford; stepson, Howard Lee Jackson; 6 grandchildren, Tiffany Pennington, Aiden Crawford, Debra Raye Heatherly, Chelsea (Levi) Hood, Samuel (Lauren) Wyatt, and Charles (Erin) Wyatt; 4 step grandchildren, Scott (Ashley) Jackson, Sean (Kennedy) Jackson, Chasity Jackson, and Brandon (Rosella) Jackson; 12 great grandchildren; brothers, Chris (Robin) Stamper, and Stanley (Libby) Stamper; and a sister, Pam (Bob) Wilson.
