Alicia Anne Hill, age 60 of Decherd, passed away Sunday, November 7, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family following a brief battle with cancer. She was born September 17, 1961 in Winchester and was a member of Prairie Plains Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, working in her flowers, gardening, cross stitching and reading. She loved her farm, especially the cows, and fishing when she had the time. Alicia will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother, also being a strong, independent and caring lady who treasured the time spent with her family and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Askins, Jr. and stepfather, Kenneth Hicks. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Bruce Hill of Decherd; children, Jessica (Jonathan) Cox of Decherd, Derek (Miranda) Hill of Hillsboro; grandchildren, Michael Cox, Victoria Cox, Julia Cox, Isaac Hill, Scarlett Cox and baby boy Hill on the way; mother, Peggy Hicks of Decherd; brother, David (Tina) Askins of Kansas; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be 1-4 pm Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Memorial services will follow at 4 pm in Moore-Cortner Chapel with Bro. Eddie Miller and Bro.
