alice-major-1476788280Alice Marie McFarland Major of Pulaski passed away on Monday, October 17, 2016 at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on July 9, 1953 and was 63 years old.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She was a member of Tabernacle Missionary Baptist in Pulaski, loved playing cards and animals.
Visitation will be on Friday, October 21, 2016 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home
Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, October 22nd at 12:00pm in the Chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home with Pastor Cornell Martin officiating.
Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin Lee and Mary Francis Neal McFarland, daughters, Earnestine McFarland and Veronica McFarland, and a brother, Herman McFarland.
She is survived by her,
Son, Brice (Angela) McFarland of FL
Son, James Robinson of Pulaski
Grandchildren, Michael McFarland, Jasmine Robinson, Mikelle Robinson, Jayden Robinson, Veronica Robinson all of Pulaski and Robert Mills, Anthony McFarland, Tessia Rorie, all of FL. And Chloe Mitchell of Fayetteville, TN
4 Great Grandchildren
Brothers, Nathaniel McFarland, Eric Hall, Andrew McFarland and Ernest McFarland all of KY.
Sister, Joyce (Samuel) Banks and Annette Hall of KY. And Shirley Young of Pulaski
One living Aunt, Bonnie Neal of KY.
A host of Nephews, Nieces, and Nephews also survive.
Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home in charge of arrangements for Alice Marie McFarland Major.
