was born July 1, 1943 in Lobdell, MS the daughter of the late Albert Edward Stone and Myrtle Azalee Guthrie Stone Waldon.
She was united in marriage to Edwin Gilbert Finley on June 6, 1970.
Mrs. Finley retired from Johnson Controls in Lexington, TN and had also worked for Coca-Cola. She loved her family, cooking, the Christmas season, playing cards and dominos, camping, vacations to Panama City Beach, and lastly-she was learning how to send text to her family and friends.
Mrs. Finley departed this life on November 18, 2014 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 71 Years, 4 Months, 17 Days. She is survived by her husband Edwin Finley of Adamsville, TN; three sons, Edwin Wayne Martin of Adamsville, TN, Donnie Joe Martin of Savannah, TN, Jackie Edwin Finley and wife Shelley of Murfreesboro, TN; two stepsons, Terry Lynn Finley of Adamsville, TN, Richard Neal Finley of Burnsville, MS; four sisters, Patricia Bennett of Harvey, ND, Mavis Finley of Adamsville, TN, Gayle Stephens of Mammoth Springs, AR, Linda Weldon of Paragould, AR; two brothers, John Henry Stone of Rockford, IL, Alton Stone of Crump, TN; eight grandchildren, Trent Martin, Bethany Wills, Joey Martin, Hailey Martin, Melanie Finley, Kaylee Finley, Scott Martin, Alex Martin; two stepgrandchildren, Ricky Finley, Jesse Finley; five great grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Finley was preceded in death by a son, Orphis Adell Martin Jr.; a sister, Louise Stone; a brother, John Edward Stone.
