Alice “Faye” Weece, 83, of Ardmore, Tennessee passed away Thursday, November 2, 2023 at Elk River Health & Nursing Center, Ardmore, TN. She was born Saturday, July 20, 1940 in Lincoln County, Tennessee to Joe Young Walker and Myrtle Steadman Walker.
“Faye” enjoyed her family most of all, but also enjoyed going to church, reading and working in her flowers.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 24 years, Billy Mims Weece; brother, Kenneth Walker; and sisters, Jonell Walker Campbell, Melba Bell Walker Cross, and Betty Ann Walker.
She is survived by her daughter, Christie Lynn Weece Hall of Henegar, AL; grandson, Eric Paul Greer (Windy McGowen) of Ardmore, TN; granddaughter, Ashlyn Danielle Hall (Matthew Evans) of Athens, AL; great-grandsons, Caison Robert Combs and Sora Cain Combs both of Athens, AL; great granddaughter, Talulla Rose Greer of Ardmore, TN; and niece, Debbie (Phil) Brown.
Visitation will be November 9, 2023, from 11 to 1 PM, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama. The funeral service will be November 9, 2023, at 1 PM at Ardmore, Alabama with Bro. Derrick Moose officiating. Burial will be in New Grove Cemetery, Blanche, Tennessee.
