Mrs. Alice Faye Roberts, age 84, of Arab, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at Diversicare of Arab in Arab, Alabama. Born in Martin County, North Carolina, on September 15, 1941, Alice was the cherished daughter of Ernest Beach and Carrie Dell Ayers Beach. Alice was the beloved wife of James Stewart Roberts, Jr. for over 55 years.
Alice’s unwavering faith and devotion to the Lord were evident throughout her life. As a dedicated prayer warrior, she touched the lives of many with compassion and guidance. She loved art and drawing and enjoyed sharing her creations with family and friends.
A positive influence and role model to all who knew her, Alice led by example and inspired others with her kindness and compassion. Alice remained deeply involved in every aspect of her family’s lives offering constant support, love, and encouragement. She traveled extensively, creating memories everywhere including in England, Germany, Paris and many other locations near and far.
Alice leaves behind a loving family to cherish their memories. Family members include her husband, James S. Roberts; children, Jeremy K. Hammond (Sema), Michael Jeremy (Lindsey), Cameron McKnight, Amy Lynne Morgan (Roger) Carrie Dale Young, Shelbie Coker (Micah), Alicia Dawn, and Hannah Elizabeth; brothers, Russell Beach and Phillip Beach; 8 great grandchildren and one on the way.
Preceding Alice in death include her mother, Carrie Dell Ayers Beach; father, Ernest Beach; son, Jerald K. Hammond; and sister, Shelbia Jean Beach Robertson.
Services for Alice will be Friday, November 7, 2025 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel in Arab, Alabama. The family will receive friends and guests for visitation from 2:00 until the funeral service begins at 3:00pm. Micah Coker and Michael Robets will be officiating. Honored to serve as pallbearers and escorting Alice to her final resting place in Arab Memorial Cemetery will be Micah Coker, Michael Roberts, David Guy, Johnwesley Bryant and Dale Millard. Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel entrusted with arrangements.
