Funeral services for Mrs. Alice Faye Bowman, age 74, are scheduled for 2 PM, Sunday, December 4, 2016 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Bowman passed away early Friday in Jackson. She was born September 27, 1942 in Silas, Alabama to the late James and Annie Lou Watkins Stokley. She was retired from Young Touchstone and was a member of Christ Church in Brownsville. She had a green thumb and loved gardening and her flowers. She also enjoyed reading and cooking, and loved her family very much. Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Mr. Max Ray Bowman of Lexington; her son, Michael (Lorrie) Bowman of Lexington; two daughters, Phyllis (Scoota) Bullins of Florida and Kathy Bradberry of Michigan; three brothers, Jay (Linda) Stokley and Larry (Sandy) Stokley of Lexington, and Oscar Stokley of Parsons; two sisters, Pat Helms and Bonnie Dunlap of Lexington; three grandchildren, Forrest (Charity) Bowman, Whitney (Derek) Wilson, and Mitchell (Christy) Bowman; and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her stepson, Ricky Bowman and one brother, Buck Stokley.
