Mrs. Alice Elaine Wood age 73 of Muscle Shoals, formerly of South Bend, Indiana passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at E.C.M. Hospital. She was a member of Glendale Church of Christ.
Mrs. Alice Elaine Wood age 73 of Muscle Shoals, formerly of South Bend, Indiana passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at E.C.M. Hospital. She was a member of Glendale Church of Christ. Visitation is today, November 23, 2012 from 5-9 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 11 a.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with burial in Milford Cemetery/Waterloo. Officiating will be Joel Cauldle, Wayne Wood, and Larry Burbank.
Mrs. Wood is preceded in death by her husband, of 50 years, Rufus Wood, granddaughter, Kimberly Clemons and a grandson, Shannon Wood Clemons.
Survivors include son, Steve Wood(Derise), daughters, Pam Clemons(Mick), Cheryl Clemons(Larry), and Laurie Wood all of Florence, grandchildren, Tammy White(Pat), Jason Wood(Misty), Christy Wood(Aaron), Rob Wood(Jaime), Dusty Clemons(Samantha), Todd Wood(Cassie), and Tabatha Haswell(Jason),great grandchildren, Tiffany, Savannah, Caden, Gracey, Lexie, Tyler, Shaylee, Dylan, Logan, Camilla, Tatum, Mattie, Nevaeh, great great grandchildren, Gage and Levi, best friend, Jeanie DePriest and outstanding caregiver Wilma Sanford.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Haddock, Dusty Clemons, Jason Wood, Rob Wood, Todd Wood, Larry Riley, Aaron Morrison, and Tyler Melton.
Honorary pallbearers will include Bobby and William Robison and Chris Melton.
The family would like to express sincere gratitude to Melanie Twitty and the 6th floor nurses at E.C.M. Hospital.
