Graveside Services for Mrs. Alice B. “Bobbie” Nix Price, age 77 of Cragford, were held on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at 3 P.M. at Clay County Memory Gardens with Pastor Scott Jordan officiating.
Mrs. Price passed away on Friday, April 17, 2020 at the Clay County Hospital. Born in Tallapoosa County, Mrs. Price spent most of her life in New Site working in a sewing plant as a seamstress. After living in Indiana and Missouri, she and her husband settled in Clay County in 2008. She enjoyed painting, making flowers arrangements and was a member of County Line Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Travis Price; two sons: Jeff and Craig Price, all of Cragford; one brother: Baron Perry Nix of Blairsville, Ga; one sister, Jackie Kite (Doug) of Carrollton, Ga; 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and a large extended family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, George Clinton Nix and Bonnie Bell Perry Nix; one son, Michael Price; one sister, Margaret Fain; and three brothers, Jeff, Frank, and Jerry Lord.
Active Pallbearers are Doug Rite, Jefferey Price Jr., Phillip Wayne Perryman, and Tyler Grant Lovelace.
A private visitation was held prior to the graveside.
Benefield Funeral Home in Ashland is in charge of arrangements.
