Alice Armenta ClemmonsAlice Armenta Clemmons of Lynnville passed away Wednesday evening, December 25th, 2019 at her home. She was born in Huntsville, Alabama on October 7, 1938 and was 81 years old.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She was a devout Christian, member of Meadowbrook Baptist Church, worked in the medical field all of her life and a animal lover.

Visitation will be on Saturday, December 28th, 2019 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.

Funeral service will follow at 1:00pm in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory

Burial will follow in Lentzville Cemetery, Athens, Alabama

Memorial donations are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association, 4825 Trousdale Drive, Suite 220, Nashville, TN. 37220.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Lawrence and Dimple Vaughn Harper Buttner and a great-grandson, Bentley Wayne Glover.
She is survived by her
Son, Gregg (Tammie) Clemmons of Lynnville
Daughter, Stephanie Glover of Lynnville
Grandson, Brent Wayne (Kelly) Glover of Pulaski
Great-grandchildren, Baylen Wayne Glover and Emma Glover
Sister, Melanie (Henry) McCrary of Decatur, AL.
Brothers, Dana Paul Buttner of Birmingham, AL. and James Earl (Jo) Buttner of Springville, AL.
Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.\Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements for Armenta Clemmons.
