Alfred “Spud” Parker Goff, 85, of Auburn, went Home to the Lord on Saturday, March 4, 2023. He was born to the late Shelton and Mary Katherine (Glover) Goff in Decherd, TN. He graduated from Huntland High School in Huntland, TN. Spud proudly served in the U.S. Army. He married Susan Claycomb in Fort Wayne on September 5, 1999. He owned and operated Goff Masonry for 40 years. Spud attended Blackhawk Ministries.

Spud is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Susan; daughter, Cindy (Billy) King of Fort Wayne; step-daughter, Cindy (Kerry) Springer of Howell, MI; grandchildren, Ashley (Zach) Baron, Alexis (Nathan) Dove, Kelsey, Hannah and Joshua Springer; four great-grandchildren; siblings, Bill (Lura B.) Goff, Earlene Judge, Kay (Leon) Clark, and Brenda Stephens. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Goff; grandson, Tyler Springer; and siblings, Camille Boren, Jean Beavers, Jeanette Bridges, Elbert “Buddy” Goff, Ray Goff, and Docia Bishop.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 17, 2023, from 4:00pm – 8:00pm at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at 11:00am from the chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Gardens with Military Honors.
