Alfred Ray BeasonAlfred Ray Beason, 81, of Valley Head, passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at his home. He was born August 19, 1940 to the late Lemuel Jackson Beason and Harriet Mae Elizabeth Bohannon Beason. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served in Germany during the Cuban Crisis.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday, November 5th at Lower Sulphur Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 1 p.m. until the 2 p.m. hour of service.

He is survived by his children Evangeline Selena Atchley (Jimmy), Kimberly Kay Clark, and Cheli Delana Seay (Anthony); grandchildren Dustin Johnson, Amber Wallace (Cody Clifton), Cody Clark, and Brittney Seay; great-grandchildren Axel and Asher Clark; and brother Amos Beason.

He was preceded in death by his wife Sue Ellen Beason; brothers Arthur and Albert Beason; and sister Dorothy Mae Ledford.
