A Graveside Funeral service and Interment for Alfred Prater, 93, will be Monday, June 14, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Friendship Cemetery, South of Danville with Bro. Francis Proctor officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. No visitation is scheduled.
Mr. Prater passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at his residence. He was born July 21, 1927, in Morgan County to George Lewis Prater and Lilly Murtis (Legg) Prater.
Mr. Prater was a member of the Penn Church of God. He was a supply clerk, employed by Willo Products, prior to his retirement. Preceding him in death were his parents, a sister: Estelle Steele, a brother: M.D. Prater and a granddaughter: Kelcie Prater.
