Mr. Alfred David Hardy Jr., was born on August 13, 1951 in Elyria, Ohio. The Lord called him home on March 13, 2018. His father, Mr. Alfred David Hardy Sr., preceded him in death.
Alfred was raised under the caring, loving and supportive parents of Elder Johnny P. Tiller and Mother Lavada C. Tiller, who both preceded him in death. Alfred accepted Jesus Christ and was baptized at Union Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church in America.
Alfred, being the son of a military soldier was afforded the opportunity to travel all over the United States and abroad. The love of travel and exploration were sparked during those times and remained a passion of his.
Alfred attended Communications and Broadcasting School in Washington D. C., there he received an Associate Degree in radio broadcast. This proved to be the foundation for his career path. He was a radio disc jockey for radio stations such as WEUP, WJAB and Jazz radio in Tullahoma, TN. He loved music, he surrounded himself in the sounds of various artist and jazz musicians.
Alfred was extremely talented and passionate about his hobbies. He could easily be found on his motorcycle, playing baseball, tennis, golf, dabbling in photography or washing his cars.
In his later years he was a self-taught Information Technology Specialist. He was an independent contractor who continued travelling world-wide to support computer database systems, set-up and maintenance at government and contract installations.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 19, 2018, at the Royal Chapel of Memories, Huntsville, Alabama with Reverend Dorothy Tiller officiating.
Public viewing will be held from 9:00 a.m., until 6:00 p.m., Sunday, March 18, 2018, and from 8:30 a.m., until time of service on Monday, March 19, 2018, at Royal Funeral Home.
