Alexander Lane Hanners Alexander “Alex” Lane Hanners; of Arab, Alabama; lost his life on the morning of Sunday – February 13, 2022 at the age of 23 years.

Alex was born on March 8, 1998 to Clifford Mark Hanners and Meisha Kaye Haga Hanners. He was a life-long resident of Arab and is an Alumni of Arab High School; Class of 2016. He made the decision to further his education and attend Wallace State Community College where he obtained his Associates of Science in Machine Tool Technology / Precision Machining. Alex was also the owner / operator of ‘Hanners Motorsports, LLC.’ In Arab; where he repaired ATV, UTV and any Off-Road vehicles.

Alex leaves behind to celebrate and honor his legacy, beloved wife; Mollie Lawrence Hanners; parents, Mark and Meisha Hanners; sister, Vanna Hamilton; grandparents, Clifford and Peggy Hanners and Verlon and Dawn Haga; aunt, Melody Haga; aunt and uncle, Steven and Amanda Hanners; cousins, Hope Hanners, Brenley Hanners and Braxton Hanners; as well as a community of friends.

Alex was the definition of a hard-working and Christ filled husband, son, and brother. While traveling all over and being the off-road enthusiast he was; Alex befriended so many people, everyone knew he was a kind-hearted, generous, and honest young man. He would always get everyone out of the trail who needed assistance and never left anyone behind. Alex was loved by so many and will continue to touch lives through his Hanners Motorsports legacy.

Visitation will take place at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel on the morning of Friday – February 18, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

Funeral Service will take place at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel following visitation at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Brad Williams, officiating.

Interment will follow services immediately at the Arab Memorial Cemetery.

Pallbearers escorting Alex to his final resting place will be: Baylon Lesley, Dalton Maze, Dillon Clark, Jacob Leak, Chase Cole, Bronson Jones, Nick Cater and Colton Smith.
