Alean Allen, age 79, of Summertown, TN passed away Friday, August 17, 2018 at her residence. She was a native of Warsaw, MO, retired from M-Fine & Sons Manufacturing, and a member of Main Street Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Austin and Bertha Davenport Long; her husband, William Delbert Allen; one daughter, Deborah Allen; one son-in-law, James “Chester” Cobb; two sisters, Wilda Shupe and Wanda Carver; and two brothers, Fairley Long and Lonnie Long.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, August 20, 2018 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Main Street Baptist Church at 1:00 PM Tuesday, August 21, 2018, with Odell Spears and Thomas Mattox officiating. Mrs. Allen will lie in state at the church from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Barnesville Cemetery in Summertown, TN.
