BOAZ-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports an Albertville Teen has been charged Vehicular Manslaughter and First-Degree Assault in a single-vehicle accident that took place on November 20.
According to the Marshall County Assistant District Attorney Adam Culbert alcohol was involved in the accident.
“On Thursday, November 21, Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division arrested and charged Yeismin Ramirez, 18, of Albertville, with Vehicular Manslaughter and two counts of First-Degree Assault. Ramirez was driving the 2015 Nissan Altima that crashed on Wednesday, November 20, and resulted in the death of a 13-year-old juvenile and 15-year-old juvenile.
The 15-year-old juvenile passenger listed in the original release below succumbed to injuries sustained during the traffic crash and was pronounced deceased on Thursday, Nov. 21, while at a local hospital.
Ramirez was booked into the Marshall County Jail with a bond of $250,000.”
