Alberta Willard Pardon, 85 of Pulaski, Tennessee died on Tuesday, December 10, 2013, at Saint Thomas Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee.
Born Tuesday, July 24, 1928 in Athens, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Willie Griffin and the late Winnie Bell Griffin. She was a member of Bunker Hill Church of God and enjoyed flowers, sewing, fishing, and watching the Atlanta Braves. She was preceded in death by her first husband Luther Willard, and two sons: Bobby and Sonny Willard.
Surviving are her husband: J. E. “Goober” Pardon of Bunker Hill, TN, daughters, Pam McCafferty of Bunker Hill, TN, Linda Willard of Bunker Hill, TN, Jane Thomas of Bunker Hill, TN, Jo Ann Griffin of Prospect, TN, and son: Danny Pardon of Elkton, TN, 19 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 13, 2013, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with Pastor Leon McCafferty officiating. Burial will be in Hasting Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, December 12, 2013, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
