Albert Roy Case, a resident of Athens, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, August 29th, 2025. Born on September 9th, 1955, in Athens, Roy was the son of Foster R. Case and Era Lee Shores Case.
Roy is survived by his devoted life partner, Suzanne Tidwell; his son, Colin Case, and daughter-in-law, Breanna; his grandchild, Ava Case; and his sisters, Wanda Merkt and her husband Eric, Jean Jenkins, Joan Austbrooks and her husband Ron, Amelia Speer and her husband Pat, and his brother John Case and his wife Susan.
Roy is preceded in death by his parents, as well as his sister, Carolyn Holderfield.
Roy was a dedicated professional, having retired as a Quality Engineer from GM/Delphi, as well as his second career as a landscaper.
A memorial service to celebrate and honor the life of Albert Roy Case will be held at a later date. Roy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His spirit will continue to inspire those who carry his memory in their hearts.
