Funeral service for Albert F. Wood, 77, will be Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Gary Peebles officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Burningtree Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday, August 23, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Wood died on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at his residence. He was born May 14, 1936, in Morgan County to Robert Frank Wood and Lillian Elzora (Chambers) Wood. Mr. Wood was the owner-operator of Control Systems.
His wife, Marlene, would like to extend a special thanks to Alacare Hospice of Decatur and heart felt thanks to Nurse Samantha Franklin for her love and compassion to my husband and comfort to me.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
