Mr. Alan Wayne Gentle, age 48 of Huntsville, died Sunday at home, surrounded by his loving family. A native of Huntsville, he loved Alabama football, NASCAR races, and hunting. He was a painter for many years.
He was preceded in death by his father Aubrey E. Gentle.
He is survived by his two daughters, Amber Edwards and Allison Gaither, son, Alan Gentle, Mother, Goldie Gentle, three brothers, Bruce Gentle, Gary Gentle, and Marty Gentle, three grandchildren, Cayden Gaither, Colt Gaither, and Sawyer Edwards.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville, where the family will receive friends from 9:00 until 11:00 AM Wednesday. A service will follow at 11:00 AM at Spry Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Cantrell officiating. Interment will follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
