Alan Kempter Lesher passed away April 22nd after 90 well-lived years with his loving family and friends. He was born February 26, 1931 in New Franklin, PA. Al is survived by his wife of 70 years, Pat, his sons, Jeff and Carl, and his daughter, Rhonda, as well as 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. As a member of the US Air Force, he served in the Korean Conflict. He also proudly enjoyed many years as an engineer for America’s space program, though his true passion was playing the guitar with his buddies.
In lieu of a memorial service, his family asks that you take a moment to remember one of his many acts of kindness, or one of his silly songs, and celebrate his remarkable life with a smile.
