FLORENCE-Founded in 1987 the Alabama Renaissance Faire is the official faire of Alabama by legislative decree. Alabama Renaissance Faire is held on the Fourth Weekend in October turning Wilson Park into Fountain-on-the-Green for the weekend of the faire.
This year the weather was perfect for the most part…the crowds were bostrious and happy.. there was food, fun, royalty and lots of wares to be had. you could even find a wizard, knight, fairy or dragon on the the green.
