MONTGOMERY-The 2014 Alabama Preservation Conference, Preserving Alabama: Finding Your Historic Rhythm, will be held April 24, 25 and 26 in the Shoals. Tracks will include historic tax credit and economic incentives, revitalizing downtowns with the Alabama Main Street Program, and sessions designed to sharpen preservation skills. Tours, hands-on workshops, and entertainment planned. Registration fees. Open to the public.
