FLORENCE – One of the best music concerts in recent memory was the setting for the 2016 Alabama Music Hall of Fame Induction Banquet. And the most enjoyable parts of the gala were the thrilling performances given by many of the inductees. This year’s class is comprised of the Southern rock band from Mobile, Wet Willie; singer Donna Jean Godchaux-MacKay; the Muscle Shoals Horns; keyboard player Chuck Leavell; and producer/engineer Johnny Sandlin.
The night went off without a hitch. It was, by all standards, a world-class event. Coordinators, Debbie Wilson, Judy Hood, Andreas Werner, stage manager Wayne Chaney, and band leader Charles Rose and a host of volunteers put the evening together at the Marriott-Shoals Conference Center.
The Quad-Cities Daily was there helping out with some photography. And we present those pictures here. Enjoy!
