Alabama Music Hall of Fame Rolling out the Red Carpet for The 58th Grammy Winners Event

AMHOF_GrammyMixerPoster-4663TUSCUMBIA-The Alabama Music Hall of Fame is hosting a red carpet Grammy mixer in celebration of this year’s Alabama’s Grammy award winners, who brought home a total of six of the awards from various categories. The mixer will take place on Tuesday, May 10 at 7:00 p.m. at the Alabama Music Hall of Fame in Tuscumbia.
The event will include a red carpet photo op, a toast to the unveiling of the new Grammy showcase, live music on Country Boy Eddie’s stage provided by The Dawn Osborne Band from Huntsville, and Cole Nichols, complimentary sushi bar provided by Ichiban, and a cash bar.
A Q&A session with several of the 58th Grammy winners include The SteelDrivers Band-Gary Nichols, Mike Fleming, Tammy Rogers, and Jimmy Nutt, owner of the NuttHouse Recording Studio. Gary Nichols, Alabama native, is the lead singer of The SteelDrivers, a bluegrass band based out of Nashville, Tn. The group won a Grammy for Best Bluegrass Album; “The Muscle Shoals Recordings”. Jimmy Nutt received a Grammy for recording and mixing the album. Jimmy Nutt’s recording accomplishments have a musical range from soul to bluegrass, and he has been a recording engineer and producer in the Shoals area for 16 years. Past Grammy winners attending the mixer and available for Q&A are: John Paul White of the four-time Grammy winning duo The Civil Wars, Shenandoah, 1995 winner for best Country collaboration with vocals for “Somewhere in the Vicinity of the Heart”, with Alison Krauss, 1995 Grammy winner Gary Baker for writing the Best Country Song, “I Swear” and two time Grammy winner Alan Schulman for engineering the Best Bluegrass album, “Bluegrass Rules!” and best Southern, Country or Bluegrass Gospel album, “ Soldier of the Cross.” Music lovers can learn about their journey from Muscle Shoals to California. amhof-logo-250x250-200x190 featured
