Aileen Barton age 84 of Bagley, passed away Saturday November 18, 2017 at her home. She was the daughter of S.W. and Elsie Barrett Payne. She was the owner of Aileen’s Flower Shop and Co-owner of Barton Auto Parts. She was a member of Greater Vision Baptist Church in Burnwell.
Funeral services will be Tuesday November 21, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Dr. Wayne Ferguson and Rev. Tim Bozeman will officiate. Burial will follow in Crestview Memorial Gardens in Adamsville. Visitation is Monday night 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her parents S.W. and Elsie Barrett Payne; her husband of 63 ½ years, Lecil Barton and her brother in law, Eugene Bell, Sr.
Survivors include her children, Jim Barton of Bagley, Brenda Roberts (David) of Sumiton and Beverly Franklin of Dora; grandchildren, Steve Roberts (Bethany) of Warrior, Michael Roberts of Moody, Jennifer Moon (Chase) of Gardendale, Misty Franklin of Dora, Lee Franklin of Hayden and Britney Cronin (J.J.) of Hayden; great grandchildren, Dylan and Dalton Roberts, Natalie Broadhead, Emma Cronin, Brandon and Nicholas Richmond and T.L. Franklin; her sister, Irene Bell; several other relatives and many friends.
Pallbearers will be Steve Roberts, Michael Roberts, Chase Moon, Lee Franklin, J.J. Cronin and Brandon Richmond.
