Agnes Young Collins, age 67, of Waterloo, died Sunday, February 17, 2013. Her family will receive friends Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Central Heights. The funeral service will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at The Church of Lord Jesus Christ with Larry Burbank and Paul Holloway Jr. officiating. Her body will be placed in the church at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Murphy’s Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Collins was a native of Waterloo, was retired from Savannah Manufacturing after thirty-three years of service and a member of The Church of Lord Jesus Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents; Ellie and Eura Sharp Young and her brother, Johnny Young.
Survivors include her husband, Elton Collins of Waterloo; son, Michael Young and wife Lisa, of Florence; daughter, Kristina Collins of Waterloo; brothers, Jim and Donald Young of Waterloo; sisters, Alice Sharp of Waterloo, Dorothy Ezekiel of Florence, Debra Daniels of Savannah, TN; three grandchildren; Alysa Young, Emma Young and Jayden Gist.
Pallbearers are Wayne Sharp, Jeremy McDonald, Chris Ezekiel, Nichlos Kelley, Tracy Smith and Randall Woods.
