Agnes V. Butler, age 81, of Northwood, Ohio, passed away Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013, at Orchard Villa, Oregon, Ohio surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 19, 1932, in Lexington, Ala. to Asa and Amanda (Griffin) Barnett. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, Agnes will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Left to cherish her memory are sons, James (Jane) Butler, of Flower Mound, Texas, and David (Sandy) Butler, of Orange Park, Fla.; ten grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and sister, Canera Wisdom. In addition to her parents, Agnes was preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm; son, Jerry Butler; daughter, Sheila Brown; and sisters, Mary, Marcy, Marie and Pauline.
The family will receive guests Saturday, August 24, from 11:00 a.m. to noon in the Elkins East Chapel, 7435 Highway 72, Killen, Ala. Interment will follow in Butler Cemetery.
