Adeline Richardson Scott Adeline Richardson Scott, age 86, of Belgreen, passed away on September 22, 2025, at Arabella of Russellville.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kermit Scott; her son, Richard Scott Sr.; and her parents, Edgar and Malvy Richardson.
Adeline leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She is survived by her children: Tammy Henry (Ron), Cindy Green (Keith), Amanda Williamson, and Ronald Scott (Renee), as well as her daughter-in-law, Vera Scott (Richard Sr.). She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren: Britney Henry Waldrop (Bobby), Jacob Green (Katelin), Morgan Liveoak, Adam Green, Madeline Saint (Ryan), Richard Scott Jr., Jarrett Scott, Gloria Scott, Mark Scott, and Allie Scott. Adeline was also blessed with five great-grandchildren: Colin, Elanor, Waylon, Baylor, and Rollins. Additionally, she is survived by her sister, Mildred Jeske.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville, Alabama, followed by a funeral service at noon in the chapel. Terry Benton will officiate the service, and Kerry Gilbert will honor her memory with hymns. A private family service will take place afterward at Franklin Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will include Tony Horton, Darryl Taylor, Roger Boyd, Ricky Hargett, Jeff Hargett, and Gary Hargett. Honorary pallbearers are Al Fiser, Bill Ashley, Robin Grissom, and Wilson Thorne.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Greta Boutwell RN, Mark McCullar, and North Alabama Hospice for their compassionate care during Adeline’s extended illness. Special gratitude is also given to Arabella Health & Wellness for their kindness and support. A sincere thank you to Kerry Gilbert for his many visits to sing hymns and read scripture, bringing comfort to Adeline during her time of need. The family would also like to express their great appreciation to Lorain Baker and Audrey Pounders for their years of assistance and care for Adeline.
Adeline was a woman of faith, family, and love. She was a long-time member of Belgreen Church of Christ. She will be missed deeply, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
