Addie Evelyn H. Starnes, 80, of Grant, passed away Friday.
She was a member of the Church of Christ at Hebron. Her favorite thing to talk about was the Church. She enjoyed singing, especially church songs. She enjoyed gardening , sewing, and crafting. She was always thinking of others and had a very giving heart. She made many quilts, blankets, pillows and gifted them to family, friends and anyone in need. She absolutely loved giving to others. Family gatherings were always full of food, laughter and singing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nealy and Winnie Hooper; brothers, Melvin, Gene, J.W. Hooper; sisters, Marjorie Ford and Mary Ruth Collins.
Surviving are husband of 61 years, Bobby R. Starnes; sons, Coy (Rhonda) Starnes and Lawrence (Earline) Starnes; daughters, Myra (Donald) Morrison and Julia (Mike) Burgess; six grandchildren, Cody (Melissa) Starnes, Brittni (Jason) White, Haley Starnes, Kimberly Starnes, Joshua Burgess, and Reid Burgess; five great grandchildren, Colton Starnes, Maylee Starnes, Logan White, Jackson White, and LeighAnn White; siblings, Roger Hooper, Dale Hooper, Linda Guest, and Nancy Hooper; special sister-in-law, Ann Lewis; and special caregiver, Donna Royal.
Visitation will be Monday 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Hebron Church of Christ. Memorial service will follow at 2:00 PM with Carl Pollard officiating.
