Addelena May Willis, age 84, of Springfield, TN, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Alive Hospice in Nashville. Funeral services will be conducted at 6pm Monday, March 27th at the Main Street Church of Christ with Bro. Joe Rushing and Bro. Barry Thornberry officiating. Burial will be in the Bunker Hill Cemetery in Bunker Hill, Illinois.
The family will receive friends from 12-6pm Monday at the church.
Mrs. Willis was born August 27, 1938 in Unionville, MO to the late Chester and Lottie Eitel Clay. She was a member of the Main Street Church of Christ in Springfield, TN.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold Stieglitz; infant children, Darryl, Roger and Theresa Stieglitz; 4 brothers, Raymond Clay, Herman Clay, Frank Clay, and Pearley Clay; and 2 sisters, Roseva Stewart, and Edith Shipley.
She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Billy F. Willis; sons, Bryan (Diana) Stieglitz, and Stan (Terri) Stieglitz; 4 grandchildren, Dustin Stieglitz, Fallyn Saxton, Bryana McNabb, and Adrian Stieglitz; and 2 great grandchildren, Rylie McNabb, and Flynn Saxton.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to Mr. Billy Willis, 3000 Bluebird Drive, Springfield, TN 37172, to help assist with funeral and travel expenses.
