FLORENCE-On Friday, August 16 Art & More located at 124 East Tennessee Street celebrated their grand opening with a tour of the gallery and a Chamber ribbon cutting. Friends and family were on hand to enjoy and help with the celebration.
A little information on the reason behind Art& More:
“Larry and Carolyn Wear were searching for an opportunity to continue doing what they love to do during their retirement years. Carolyn, a retired school teacher, and Larry, retired military, both have passions for art.
After Carolyn spotted an empty building downtown on E. Tennessee Street, she knew that would be her new home to showcase her work, and create a space for local and regional artists to do the same and there you have it … the birth and beginning of a wonderful venture … Art & More.”
