Ada Ruth Underwood Bowen, 88, died Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at the Mississippi Care Center, Corinth, Ms. She was born in Tishomingo, Ms., worked as a hairdresser and was of the Baptist faith.
Graveside services will be Monday, August 7, at 11 a.m. at Tishomingo City Cemetery, Tishomingo, Ms. Burial will be in Tishomingo City Cemetery, Tishomingo, Ms. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, Ms. will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are two children – Maggie Bowen, Corinth, Ms. and Boots Nunley (Lori) Brandon, Ms.; two brothers – Harold Lee Underwood, Kingston, Tn. and Ken Underwood; one sister – Margaret Underwood, Tishomingo, Ms.; two grandchildren- Shellie Nunley Sojorner (Ben) and Ryan Nunley (Beth) and three great-grandchildren – Skyler, Cash and Jet. She was preceded in death by her son-Rick Nunley.
