Ada Lee Mathena, age 79, of Athens passed away October 29, 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born May 22, 1946 in North Carolina to Francis and Irene Lewis. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Donald and Wayne, sister, Mae as well as her son, Bryan Lee Mathena.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Michael Lee Mathena, son, Michael Keith (Ann) Mathena, daughter Misti (Harvey) Cooper, and beloved dog, Toby.
