HUNTSVILLE-On Tuesday, June 27 messages were received at 10:00 AM, 10:29 AM and again at 10:33 AM from Marshall Space Flight Center concerning an active shooter at Redstone Arsenal:
“An Emergency situation exists near the Sparkman Center, RSA bldg. 5301 please avoid this area. 10:00 AM
An active Shooter has been reported at the RSA Sparkman Center. Personnel in this area take protective action now. This is not a drill. 10:29 AM
MSFC and RSA are in lockdown status. All installation gates are closed until further notice. Employees are to shelter in place. 10:33 AM”
