Accident In Limestone County Results In Injury to Driver Of Stolen Vehicle

LIMESTONE COUNTY-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports an accident involving a stolen truck.  The accident occurred on August 30:

“At approximately 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, August 30, a stolen 2002 Ford F-250 driven by Ashley Nicole Taymon, 35, of Harvest, was involved in a multiple vehicle crash.

The F-250 struck a 2017 Chevy Equinox, driven by Joey Hobbs, 47, of Athens and a 2016 Ford Focus, driven by Lauren Utt, 21, of Madison. The F-250 then left the roadway, struck a sign, a utility pole, and then a fence before striking multiple unoccupied parked vehicles on private property.

Taymon was injured and transported to Athens Hospital for treatment.

The crash occurred on U.S. 72 near Dupree Worthy Road, approximately one mile west of Madison, in Limestone County. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.

 Madison County Sheriffs Office is handling the legal ramifications concerning this accident.”
