FLORENCE-The Alabama Broadcasters Association is marking 80 years of serving local radio and television stations with a series of receptions across the state. We are thrilled to announce that our next stop is Florence. We will be hosting a reception in Florence at the Renaissance Shoals Resort and Spa located at 10 Hightower Place in Florence. The Time Will be july 29 from 4:00PM until 6:00PM
A highlight of the event will be the Hall of Fame induction ceremony, honoring three legendary broadcasters who shaped the media landscape of the Shoals and Northwest Alabama. We invite local businesses, civic leaders, philanthropic groups, and broadcasting families to join us in celebrating the enduring strength of local media.
We are especially grateful to Hall of Fame inductee Jerry Phillips for his continued dedication to preserving and promoting music and broadcasting in The Shoals. His ongoing support for our local community is deeply appreciated.
