Aaron Stephen Masterson, born April 8, 2005 was reunited with our Lord and Savior on February 4, 2018. Beloved son of Sara (Pauls) and Don Masterson, loving brother of Marianne, Margaret and Molly Masterson, treasured grandson of Marjorie (the late John) Masterson of Huntsville and Leslie (the late Sally) Pauls of Evanston, IL. Aaron leaves a large devoted family of many aunts, uncles and cousins in the Huffman (Tupelo, MS), Hampton (HSV), Masterson (Fairfax, VA), Overton (HSV), Backman/Siegel and Pauls (Chicago, IL) families. Aaron was a rock star Jedi master with a contagious laugh, a huge Alabama football fan who also reveled in swimming and family trips to Pisgah National Forest. He enjoyed a huge group of friends throughout the community. Aaron’s strong belief in God made him a true light on the mountain. The family thanks all of Aaron’s devoted caregivers throughout his life. His light and life live on through several organ recipients and his spirit and legacy live on in our hearts and memories forever.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 6-8 pm at Cove Church (Hampton Cove campus) with a Celebration of Life service on Saturday at 10 am at First Baptist Church.
