Aaron Nichols, age 41, passed away July 6, 2024 at North Alabama Medical Center. Aaron was born to Chris and Denette Nichols on June 28th, 1983.
Aaron was a proud Alabama National Guard Veteran who served in two deployments; while attending college at Lake Superior State University, Aaron was shipped out to war with the Michigan National Guard out of Sault St. Marie in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom during its initial invasion. His second tour was served with the Alabama National Guard 115th Signal Battalion in Operation Enduring Freedom, in Afghanistan.
Aaron worked with the City of Russellville Police Department as a Patrol Officer for almost 10 years. He later worked at Rural King where he would tell you he finally met his true love while doing something he really enjoyed, selling guns to the public.
Aaron was preceded in death by his big brother John Adam; his grandparents, Neal and Frances Nichols of Russellville, Alabama; General and Georgia Sparks of Tuscumbia, Alabama.
Aaron leaves behind his wife, Sarah and children Karrah Grace (14), Kayden (10), and Tiffinie (20); parents, Chris and Denette Nichols; sister, Mellissa Lane (Michael); nieces, Kristina Vandervort and Hailey Russell (Manley); aunts and uncles as well as many cousins.
There will be a Celebration of Life taking place at Bridgeway Baptist Church in Muscle Shoals, Alabama on July 13, 2024 at 2:00 pm.

There will be a private internment at Ramsey Cemetery in Franklin County at a later date.
Aaron is loved by many and will be forgotten by none.

1. It is what it is.
2. When cooking, ditch the Crisco and use Bacon Up.
3. When all else fails, go fishin.
4. Know Jesus.
