Aaron Hardy Posey, age 85, of Phil Campbell, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023, at his residence after an extended illness.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Posey and Lena Hardy Sullivan; brother, Walter Posey; and sister, Lois Kennedy.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 67 years, Mary Alice Posey; children, Gaila Cook (Gerry), Deana Kimbrell (Donald), Steven Posey (Kelly Barton); 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; sister, Polly Cason (Charlie); and a host of friends.
A memorial service will be held at a date to be announced.
The family would like to share a special thanks to nurses and staff of Enhabit Home Health, Enhabit Hospice, Clearview Cancer Center, and Family Medical Center of Muscle Shoals for the excellent care and support shown to our family. Also, a heartfelt thanks to the East Franklin Fire Department for your willingness and prompt help whenever it was needed.
