Funeral for A. V. Knight, 82, of Hillsboro will be Sunday, November 26, 2017, at Parkway Funeral Home, at 2:00 PM with Rev. Charles Maples officiating. Burial will be in Morris Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be two hours before the service at the funeral home. Mr. Knight, who died Thursday, November 23, 2017, at his residence, he was born Wednesday, May 8, 1935, to Alvin Knight and Alma Cooper Knight.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wife – Norma Jean Cottingham Knight, 2 Sons – Larry Gene Knight and Brian Knight
Survivors include:
4 Son – James (Susan) Knight, Milford (Kimberly) Knight, Ricky (Martha) Knight and Stacy (Angela) Knight
2 Daughters – Margie Garrison and Vicky (Doug) Webb
7 Brothers- Benny Smith, Dyar Smith, Thurmon Smith, Tommy Smith, Donnie Smith, Cooper Smith, Clifton Knight
2 Sisters – Beatrice Terry and Sandra Morgan
13 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Chad Garrison, Brad Garrison, Jessie Knight, Patrick Knight, Brian Knight and Dylan Strickland.
