A.T. Malone, Jr., age 81, of Russellville, passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Mitchell Hollingsworth in Florence.
Mr. Malone was a retired tool and die maker at Ford Motor Company. He was a Master Mason at the Russellville Lodge for over 50 years. He was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church in Muscle Shoals.
The visitation will be 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Monday, October 22, 2018 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Spry Memorial Chapel with Brother Brett Pitman officiating. Burial will be at Colbert Memorial Gardens.
He was preceded in death by his son, Keith Ray Malone; father, A.T. Malone, Sr.; mother, Ada Lou Wilson Malone; brothers, Homer Malone and Jack Malone; sisters, Eva Malone, Lila Hester, Artie Porter, Mattie Taylor; and in-laws, Raymond & Vera Hargett.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 60 years, Judy Hargett Malone; daughter, Karen Belk (husband, Woodie); grandchildren, Demi Belk and Kera Belk; sisters, Dorothy McCollum, Doris Landers; and a host of nieces & nephews.
The pallbearers are Roger Bragwell, Tyrus Hester, Jerry Pace, Stacy Cantrell, Ricky Hargett, and Victor Porter. The honorary pallbearers are Jason Isbell, Steve Pace, Roger McCalpin, Clyde Hargett, and Howard Hargett.
The family would like to extend sincere thanks to Dr. Brad McAnalley and staff, the staff of Brookdale Shoals, and Mitchell Hollingsworth for your love and care of our family.
