Mr. A. Joseph Phillips, age 64, of Albertville, Alabama died on Saturday, October 25, 2025, in Michigan.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at One o’clock pm at the McRae Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Shannon Pullen and Bro. Gene Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery with Military Honors. The visitation will be on Monday evening, November 3, 2025, from 6pm until 8pm at the funeral home.
Mr. Phillips was born in Montgomery, Alabama on June 2, 1961, to Art and Patsy Taylor Phillips. He was a proud United States Marine Veteran having served during Desert Shield/Desert Storm.
Mr. Phillips is survived by Wife: Michelle Young Phillips of Albertville, Sons: Anthony & Sara Phillips of Helena and Andrew Phillips of Albertville, Granddaughters: Callaway Phillips and Berkeley Phillips, Sister: Tanya Rosenbauer & Jeff of Boaz, Brother: Tony Phillips & Teresa of Sylvania, and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins, Mother-in-Law: Marlene Young of Boaz, Brother-in-Law: Mark Young and Sister-in-Law: Melissa Young both of Michigan. He was preceded in death by his Parents: Art & Patsy Phillips and Grandparents: Rev. Pat & Odene Taylor and E. C & Willie Belle Phillips.
The pallbearers will be Anthony Phillips, Andrew Phillips, Tony Phillips, Alec Taylor, Jeff Rosenbauer, Kyle Rosenbauer, Cody Alexander, and Manny Sablon.
