A.C. Goss, age 84, of Sheffield, died Feb. 21, 2013, at Helen Keller Hospital.
The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
Survivors include sons, Terry L. Goss (Donna) and Mike Goss; grandchildren, Amy Suzanne Downey, William Marshall Goss, Stacy Mikes (Brian); and sisters, Louise Falco and Lila Cain.
Mr. Goss was a Korean War veteran, having served in the U.S. Army, and a retiree of Ford Motor Co.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Willodean Goss; parents, Marshall E. and Attie Delora Chamblee Goss; sisters, Ollie Beaty, Alta Belle Morgan, Estelle Ridgeway, Inez Floyd; and brothers, L.D. Emmitt, Carl and Lotha Goss.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Muscle Shoals Senior Center, 994 Gattman Park Drive, Muscle Shoals, AL 35661.
