John Henry Lane, age 46, of Russellville, passed away on Sunday, May 03, 2026, at UAB Hospital in Birmingham.
John Henry loved wrestling, Alabama football, and working on cars. He was a member of My Father’s House Church in Russellville. More than anything, he loved his family.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 19 years, Janasa King Lane; daughter, Keitha Breanna Clemons (Barry Bonds); mother, Mary Jennell Lane; sister, Tanya Calhoun; uncle, Leroy Lane; nieces & nephews, Chloe Romero (Nick), Maci Calhoun (Jackie), Takota Calhoun, Rowan James Kilpatrick, Willow Mae Dutton, Mela Terrazas (Jayce), Jr. Terrazas (Hayli Pennington), Logan Scott, Zylerra Groce, Havilah Groce, Jazzlyn King, Abel Melton (Haley), Kane Melton (Kaedance); and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death father, Henry Eugene Lane; brother, Keith Eugene Lane; and nephew, Ricky Ethan Knox.
A celebration of John Henry’s life will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 16, 2026, at My Father’s House Church in Russellville.
